17 July 2023Invitations to events: the rules
19 July 2023Our region conquers the United Kingdom in grand style: with a Lonely Planet guide in English entirely dedicated to Friuli Venezia Giulia. The prestigious guidebook by Lonely Planet, the favorite among travelers worldwide, has just been unveiled in London and is ready to be marketed with international distribution.
It’s a remarkable achievement for a small region that has been catching the attention of many tourists in recent years. In the first half of 2023, there were 32,000 arrivals of British citizens in the region, a 56% increase compared to the same period last year. Furthermore, a significant number of 27,000 British travelers visited Trieste last year, figures expected to be greatly surpassed.
The revival of our territory in the eyes of international tourists began in 2015 when it entered the top ten of the “destinations everyone will be talking about” according to the Australian publishing house, as announced in the launch of the “Best in Travel 2016” volume. There is further expected growth in interest and arrivals from the United Kingdom, the United States, and beyond.
